When you want to get a relatively quicker update of the various aspects of a bookkeeping business, the dashboard offers you that update. It is a visual representation of the different aspects of the business such as monthly sales, sales by product category and aged creditors. Bright AP provides pre-configured analytics in the form of graphs, charts, etc., that you can choose and customize. To use the dashboard, complete the following steps.
- Log in to Bright AP.
- The Clients and Accounts page appears. Select the required client.
- The Dashboard page appears.
- To customize the dashboard, click New.
- To add key figures, on the Add New Chart window, click Key Figure.
- The key figures are added.
- To add a chart, click on the type of chart and then select the type of analytics you want to show.
- Enable the analytics type and click Save.
Create New
A new shortcut for transaction posting functionalities is introduced in the Dashboard. Once you select the required client account, the top panel of the Dashboard displays a Create New button. This is a single-click access shortcut menu to the Sales, Purchases and Banking functionalities.
For Bookkeeping Clients
For all bookkeeping clients, the Create New button will display a single-click shortcut access for all Sales, Purchases and Banking functionalities such as Quick Invoice creation, Product Invoice creation, Quick Receipt and Payment creation, Customer Receipt creation, Supplier Payment creation and more.
For Non-bookkeeping Clients
For all non-bookkeeping clients, the Create New button will display a single-click shortcut access for Banking functionalities which will include Quick Receipt and Quick Payment creation.
My Subscription
A new button, My Subscription, is added to the Dashboard which will help you manage your subscription details from BrightHub. Bright has now consolidated all its products under a single roof, BrightHub. With the consolidation implemented, you will be able to view and modify all your subscription details from BrightHub.
- To manage your subscription details, click My Subscription located in the left panel if no client account is open.
- The My Subscription pop-up window opens. This displays the Limits/Addons for your current selected plan, how much of them are Already Used and if e-signing is performed for the client account.
- Click BrightHub. You will be redirected to the BrightHub Organisations page. With the consolidation implemented, you will be able to access and manage all My Subscription requirements under BrightHub. You will find the detailed help here.
- Click Historic Invoices, you will be redirected to a list showing all your payment transaction details for the practice. You can Print the invoice details.
- To manage your subscription for a specific client account, open the required account and click My Subscription located in the top panel.
- You will be redirected to BrightHub from where you can manage all your subscription details.
