Why is the Balance Sheet or Auditor’s Report date not showing in my accounts?
If the balance sheet signatory date is hidden or missing, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check Date Visibility Settings
- Go to Compliance Database > Legislation > Dates and Signing.
- Ensure that the option to hide the balance sheet signatory date is unticked.
Step 2: Assign Relevant Dates for the Reports
Verify that a relevant date has been assigned for both:
- The balance sheet report.
- The auditor’s report.
Step 3: Set the Correct Status
- Navigate to Produce Accounts > Status.
- Ensure the account status is set to Ready for Signing or Higher.
By completing these steps, the dates should now be displayed correctly in the accounts.
