Why is the comparative balance for called-up share capital missing in my Statement of Changes in Equity?

This issue occurs when the pre-comparative balance for share capital has not been entered.

Steps to Resolve:

1. Navigate to Nominal Ledger > Chart of Accounts > View > Comparatives.
2. Review where your share capital entries have been posted.

For example:

1. If your share capital entries are posted to code 951, check the 2020 column for missing pre-comparative balances.
2. Enter the missing balance:
   • Input -1000 euro (or the correct amount) in the 2020 column to reflect the pre-comparative balance.
   • To balance this, enter 1000 euro in another code.

Note: If you are unsure of the other side of the posting, use the rounding account (code 381).

3. After entering the missing balance, refresh your accounts. The share capital comparative balance will now appear correctly in the Statement of Changes in Equity.
