No, individual notes cannot be manually excluded in Bright Accounts Production.

Notes are automatically triggered by postings to specific nominal codes that belong to designated reporting groups. If there is any journal entry to a nominal within one of these groups, the related note must appear in the accounts.

Additionally, some nominal codes will automatically activate corresponding sections in the Compliance Database. If data is entered or triggered there, the related note will be included in the final statements.

To avoid triggering a note, ensure no journals are posted to the associated nominal codes, and remove any entries in the relevant Compliance sections.

If a note appears unexpectedly, review the nominal activity and compliance data to confirm whether its inclusion is required.
