How can I assign directors to sign the accounts?
To ensure directors' names and signing dates appear correctly on the financial statements in Bright Accounts Production, follow these steps:
- Enter Officer Details:
- Navigate to Compliance > Client Details > Officer Details.
- Ensure all relevant directors and the company secretary are entered.
- Assign Order Numbers and Signature Order Numbers to reflect the correct signing sequence.
- Input Signing Dates:
- Go to Legislation > Dates & Signing.
- Enter the appropriate signing dates for the Balance Sheet, Auditor’s Report, and any other applicable areas.
- Mark Accounts as Ready for Signing:
- Once all officer details and signing dates are in place, update the Status of the accounts to ‘Ready For Signing’.
- This will automatically populate the director name(s) and signing date(s) in the final produced accounts.
