Ireland - Charity - Audited Letters of Engagement and Representation in the Documentation Pack

We have introduced the audited versions of the letter of engagement and letter of representation into the Documentation Pack for the Charity template in Ireland region. Ensure that the Audit Exempt under relevant Companies Acts? option in the Compliance Database is unchecked under Client Details > Key Information.

To access the audited versions of the letter of engagement in the Documentation Pack, select Show Audit Engagement Letter? under Documentation Pack > Audit Engagement Letter. You can customize all the sections of the letter as needed.

Similarly, to access the audited versions of the letter of representation in the Documentation Pack, select Show Audit Representation Letter? under Documentation Pack > Audit Representation Letter. You can modify all the sections of the letter as required.

The Documentation Pack module will view the audited versions of the Engagement Letter and the Representation Letter.

Ensure that the Audit Exempt under relevant Companies Acts? option in the Compliance Database is checked under Client Details > Key Information.

To access the non-audited versions of the letter of engagement in the Documentation Pack, select Show Engagement Letter? under Documentation Pack > Engagement Letter. You can modify all the sections of the letter as required.

Similarly, to access the non-audited versions of the letter of representation in the Documentation Pack, select Show Representation Letter? under Documentation Pack > Representation Letter. You can modify all the sections of the letter as per requirement.

The Documentation Pack module will view the non-audited versions of the Engagement Letter and the Representation Letter.

UK and Northern Ireland - Charity - Introduction of Annual Trustees Report in Abridged Accounts

We have introduced a new Compliance Database option to access the Annual Trustees Report in the Abridged Accounts. This change is only for Small-sized of charitable companies and is applicable to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland region.

To access the Annual Trustees Report in the Abridged Accounts, select Show Trustees' Annual Report in Abridged Accounts? under Legislation, Compliance and Disclosure > Disclosure. 

The produced Abridged accounts will include the Annual Trustees Report, with this option remaining pre-selected. 

Ireland - School - Introduction of Creditors and Accrued Expenses Note

We have implemented a new text box in the Compliance Database allowing users to add a Creditors and Accrued Expenses Note within the Notes to the Financial Statements for generated accounts. 

To include Creditors and Accrued Expenses Note, navigate to the Compliance Database, select Creditors > Creditors < 1 Year and enter the necessary text in the Text on creditors and accrued expenses field. By default, this field will remain empty.

The Notes to the Financial Statements of the generated accounts will then display the Creditors and Accrued Expenses Note.

Ireland - School - Removal of Contributions towards the Cost of Fixed Assets: Capital Buildings

We have introduced a new option in the Compliance Database to exclude details of the Contributions towards the Cost of Fixed Assets: Capital Buildings details from the Notes to the Financial Statements in the generated accounts.

To remove the Contributions towards the Cost of Fixed Assets: Capital Buildings details, navigate to Disclosure, Dates and Signing > Accounts Disclosure Parameters and select Remove contributions towards the cost of fixed assets- capital buildings?

This action will ensure that the Contributions towards the Cost of Fixed Assets: Capital Buildings details are omitted from the Notes to the Financial Statements in the produced accounts.

Sole Trader - UK & Ireland - Presentational Changes

A series of presentational changes have been implemented to the Produced Accounts of the Sole Trader template which are listed below:

• The term Unaudited is added in the cover page of the produced accounts for unaudited accounts.
• A new Compliance Database option Show the word ‘Unaudited’ next to the Income and Expenditure and Balance Sheet pages in the financial statement? is introduced under Dates and Disclosure Options > Accounts Disclosure Parameters to view the term Unaudited in the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account.
• A new Compliance Database option, General Information - Currency, has been introduced under Accounting Policies in the Compliance Database. To modify the text on currency, select the General Information - Currency option. Initially, a pre-written text will be provided, which can be adjusted to meet your specific requirements.
• A new piece of text is introduced for the Depreciation section of the produced accounts under Accounting Policies > Depreciation. By default, a text will be provided in the Further text on depreciation textbox, which can be modified as per your requirements.
• The Accounting Convention text in the produced accounts is modified. This text can be modified as per your requirements. This change is only applicable for Ireland region.
