You are allowed to edit only the nominal code description and a few other descriptions of a nominal code. To edit a nominal code, complete the following steps.

1. On the Chart of Accounts page, click for the nominal code and click Edit.
2. The Edit Account window appears. Edit the nominal code profile.
3. Click Save. A confirmation message appears stating that if the code description is modified, it will not be changed in the produced accounts pages.
